Titans RB Chris Johnson is OK with losing short-yardage carries

It doesn't really matter what Chris Johnson @ChrisJohnson28 thinks about Shonn Greene coming in to take away the large majority of his short-yardage and goal-line chances. He's under contract through 2016, and the Titans just inked Greene to a three-year, $10 million contract to be their battering ram. But just for the record, Johnson said he's OK with it.
"I never really get any short-yardage plays, so it doesn't really matter," Johnson told The Tennessean's David Climer. "That's just another piece of this offense -- continue to keep the drive going and run more plays."

Fantasy Analysis:

In return, the Titans plan to use Johnson more as a receiver. He could reach his career-high of 57 receptions, which was set in 2011. Johnson may score only a handful of touchdowns, but the Titans put an emphasis on improving their offensive line, and that should help Johnson gain something between 1,700-1,800 total yards this year. He is a solid RB2.
