Packers WR Randall Cobb leaves practice with biceps tendon injury
Because what the Packers need right now is an injury to another key player. On the same day wide receiver Jordy Nelson was declared out for the rest of training camp, wide receiver Randall Cobb had to leave practice early on Tuesday with a biceps tendon injury. After meeting with trainers, he watched the rest of practice with a bag of ice on his shoulder. The team hasn't commented on the severity of Cobb's injury, but NFL.com's Ian Rapoport tweeted that he's been told the damage is "not serious."
Losing Jordy Nelson for a month is too bad. Losing left tackle Brian Bulaga for the season is brutal. If Cobb were to go down with a long-term injury, I don't know what Packers fans would do with themselves. We'll let you know if something more serious is revealed about Cobb's injury, but keep drafting him as a top-12 WR for now. It sounds like he'll be OK.
