Ravens RB Ray Rice could be shifted out wide more often while RB Bernard Pierce gets more carries

"Running back" is Ray Rice @RayRice27's job title, but he's obviously more than just a runner. He has averaged close to 70 receptions per season since 2009, and the Ravens are near-desperate for receiving help following the departure of Anquan Boldin and the major injury suffered by Dennis Pitta. ESPN's Chris Mortensen said Wednesday that the Ravens would like Rice up out wide to alleviate that problem somewhat. And with Rice acting more as receiver, Bernard Pierce @BPierce_30 would stand to get more carries.
Mortensen said Rice wouldn't be changing positions, but that the Ravens also "love Pierce."
Sports Illustrated's Peter King shared a similar opinion in a Tuesday article, which is linked below.

Fantasy Analysis:

All of this makes sense. Rice's PPR value gets a slight bump from this news. It's obvious that Pierce is going to see quite a lot of work this year. I think he's one of the top true backup RBs to draft, and his presence has caused Rice to fall into the back half of the first round. I still think Rice is going to be handed close to 300 touches.

given the pierce situation in Baltimore, how can ray rice be considered the top RB in my custom scoring settings i have entered? its a ppr league, the only changes really are 20 yds=1point for rushing and receiving. i dont get this

I have no say in the rankings. Sorry.
