UPDATE: Buccaneers RB Peyton Hillis suffers hyperextended knee

Update: Per source, ESPN's Adam Schefter says Hillis is actually expected to miss only "a couple of days."

------------------------------------------------------------

Lastly in this string of notes regarding Thursday's injuries, we have Buccaneers running back Peyton Hillis @thepeytonhillis. He suffered a hyperextended left knee versus the Ravens. According to the Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud, the injury is not believed to be season-ending.

Fantasy Analysis:

I watched this game live, and when Hillis first went down, it looked really bad. He should consider himself fortunate that we're talking about only a hyperextension and not something direr with that knee. With this update from Schefter, Hillis remains in the running to open the season as Doug Martin @DougMartin22's backup. The other top names for that job are Michael Smith @michaeldsmith34 and Mike James. In other words, please stay healthy, Mr. Martin. Please.

All RB's are ticking time-bombs but, It just feels like, short, stout Backs like Martin and Rice are injury proof. I know this is delusional but, I feel very safe with either of these studs in the 1st Rnd.
