Ravens sign WR Brandon Stokley
Once again, the Ravens are pretty desperate for help at wide receiver. I don't know how much this move exactly helps, but here it is: The Ravens have signed 37-year-old wideout Brandon Stokley. Stokley played with the Broncos last year, catching 45 passes for 544 yards and five touchdowns. It represented his most productive season since 2007. Stokley was a fourth-round draft pick by the Ravens in 1999 and won a Super Bowl with them in 2001.
Stokley was actually useful at times in some deeper fantasy leagues last year. His numbers were pretty solid for a wide receiver north of 35. Unfortunately for him, Joe Flacco is not Peyton Manning. Stokley will be fighting for a roster spot, and isn't worth considering in any draft.
