Browns RB Trent Richardson says he is healthy, wants to play in preseason

Browns running back Trent Richardson told Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal on Sunday that he is back to 100 percent after missing some practices and being limited in some others this month after getting inadvertently kicked in the shin. Richardson also said his "ultimate goal" is to make it to Week 1 at full strength, but he would like to see some live-action reps before then. Richardson said he would like to play as soon as this Thursday against the Lions, but he knows that's a decision left up to head coach Rob Chudzinski.

Fantasy Analysis:

This shin issue was never a big deal and shouldn't be added to the narrative that Richardson is injury-prone. Everything he dealt with last year, including knee, chest, finger and ankle injuries, might scare some fantasy owners away. But there's no doubt that Richardson is a first-round lock.
