Packers WR Randall Cobb practicing through biceps injury
Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb suffered a biceps injury last week. And while we've seen so many teams be very cautious with their injured star players, Cobb continues to practice even though it is evident that he is feeling the pain.
According to Rob Demovsky, "Cobb is holding his right arm after every play ... and still catching balls" during Tuesday's practice. Via Demovsky, head coach Mike McCarthy said, "We understand what the injury is and we wouldn't put [Cobb] out there if he was (in) jeopardy of moving forward."
The Packers obviously need Cobb healthy for the season, but I kind of like this. If there is no way he can make the injury worse, let him practice. He'll have to play through pain of some sort during the season, so why not prepare like that in August? Cobb remains a WR1.
