Cardinals RB Rashard Mendenhall has minor knee sprain
Cardinals running back Rashard Mendenhall injured his right knee during Saturday's game, but it's apparently not a big deal. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that Mendenhall has a minor knee sprain and should be back in time for the team's season-opening game against the Rams.
Mendenhall has looked pretty spry in the Cardinals games I've watched this month. He could be a nice flex option as the team's starting RB, even in Bruce Arians' pass-first offense. Mendenhall is not any higher than that because he is becoming a very injury-prone player.
