Packers RB DuJuan Harris out for season with knee injury

Packers running back DuJuan Harris @Ol_sLy_Foxx has practiced sparingly over the past three months, and now we know why. Harris has damage to a patellar tendon and needs surgery that will end his season before it starts. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday that the team will put Harris on injured reserve. Harris said the tendon is not completely torn, but he wants to get it fixed now to keep it "from popping."

Fantasy Analysis:

Torn patellar tendons are devastating injuries, so while this is too bad for Harris, it's probably the smart move with his NFL future in mind. With him out of the picture, rookie Johnathan Franklin @JFrank2308 has been given another opportunity to become Green Bay's main third-down back. Eddie Lacy has cemented his role as the team's early-down runner.

Given Lacy's recent rise and Bell's demise, how would you rank top four rookie RBs for this year as well as for dynasty?

For this year: Lacy, Bernard, Ball, Bell.

For dynasty: Bernard, Bell, Lacy, Ball.

My thoughts on this have changed over the past few weeks. I'm especially souring on Ball.

Thank you for your response. What are the chances of Bernard matching Lacy's production in the second half of this season? I also have Rodgers and AJ Green among my keepers. Torn between Lacy and Bernard...
