Bears WR Brandon Marshall frustrated by his recovery from hip surgery

Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall @BMarshall has played in the past two preseason games, and there is every expectation that he will be his usual, dominant self when the regular season begins on Sept. 8 despite undergoing the third hip surgery on his career seven months ago. Marshall said in July that he was healthy, but on Tuesday, he said he was frustrated with some aspects of his rehab.
"I'm not where I want to be right now," Marshall said via Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times. "It's a little frustrating. But we'll see. ... It's one of those things where I'm just trying to get healthy for Week 1."

Fantasy Analysis:

It's a little cryptic, but Marshall is not at risk of missing any game action as far as we know. Maybe this something to remember if you have yet to draft and are thinking about taking Marshall in the second round. I still wouldn't have any problem with that; Marshall should be fine in short order.

I slightly ( and only slightly) disagree. I am not certain I would bank Marshall as my 1st WR pick. That hip could pose a problem and for my money I would use that pick to grab a top notch RB. WR field extremely deep and risking an early pick on Brandon could prove costly. This truly is a pure case of does the reward outweigh the risk?

I wouldn't take Marshall as my first pick either. But as a late second-rounder, yeah, I believe the reward down outweigh the risk.
