Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew ready for lots of carries in Week 1

Training camp was tough for Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew @Jones_Drew32. He admitted Wednesday that there were some days during camp when he thought his days as an effective NFL player were over. He also said he lied to the media about his good health for the first couple of weeks even though he was still feeling pain in his surgically repaired left foot.
But now, Jones-Drew is ostensibly not lying when he says he feels great, and when asked how many carries he could handle in Sunday's game versus the Chiefs, Jones-Drew responded, "As many as it takes."

Fantasy Analysis:

Lisfranc injuries are no joke, especially for running backs. But I believe MJD is healthy now and ready to roll. If you picked him up as your RB2 in the second or even third round of your draft, you should be very happy. Because of 2012's lost season, it's easy to forget that Jones-Drew, 28, gained almost 2,000 scrimmage yards in 2011. He should bounce back in a big way this year.

So I should be happy if I got him late in the 4th as my flex RB?

Between him, Spiller, and Ridley, I think they'll get a few carries this week :)

If you get him late in the 4th, I would love to join your league.

4th round in a league with an RB Flex? Wow, you must have 8 teams, or 2 QB League.

He'll be a top 20 RB for sure.
