Falcons WR Roddy White says it might take a few weeks until he's able to play like normal

Fantasy owners were faced with a tough decision of whether or not to start Roddy White @roddywhiteTV on Sunday against the Saints. The matchup was favorable, and he was active for the game despite a high-ankle sprain, news of which didn't break until Sunday morning. Would White be his normal self or would he largely play the role of a decoy? Unfortunately for those owners who started White, and fantasy writers such as myself who told many people to start White, it was the latter.
White caught two passes for 19 yards and said after the game his ankle made it "hard to do just about everything at that position." He also said he was on the field mostly so the Saints "couldn't just bracket guys."
White suffered the injury on Aug. 15, and he said it might be a little while longer before he is playing without physical limitations.
"I wasn't my usual self," White said. "But you go out there and play as much as possible and try to help your team win. But it will be maybe a few more weeks before I can go out there and be myself."

Fantasy Analysis:

We'll see how White practices this week, if he does practice. He should be considered very questionable for Week 2 versus the Rams. The Falcons could be just fine without him considering all of the weapons they still have on offense, including Harry Douglas @HDouglas83, who stepped up to catch four passes for 93 yards yesterday. I think he is worth adding for as long as White's ankle continues to be a bother. This is a tough pill for White's fantasy owners who had been led to believe for the past three weeks that there was nothing seriously wrong with him.
