UPDATE: Patriots have not decided which RB will start Thursday

Update: You can forget about Shane Vereen @ShaneVereen34 starting this week or the next few weeks.

-----------------------------------------------------

The Patriots have three days before their next game. At some point between now and then, they will figure out whether Stevan Ridley @StevanRidley or Shane Vereen will get the start, but offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said Monday that no decision has been made yet.
Ridley was benched for the rest of Sunday after his second-quarter fumble, which was returned by the Bills for a touchdown. Vereen went on to rack up 101 yards on the ground and catch seven passes for 58 more yards.

Fantasy Analysis:

Ridley averaged more than five yards per carry, but he knows he can't continue to fumble and expect to be an integral part of this offense. Don't be surprised if the Patriots keep plans for their backfield under wraps all week. Vereen looks like the better of the two players right now, especially because of his versatility. He should see 15-20 more touches against the Jets, with a large number of those coming as a receiver. He is an RB2 in all leagues. Ridley's workload is much more of a mystery, and he is a low-end RB2.
