Ravens RB Ray Rice suffers strained hip flexor

Week 2 was filled with a bunch of high-ranking players seeing their Sunday cut short due to some sort of injury. Perhaps none of the injured are more important in fantasy than Ray Rice @RayRice27. The Ravens' running back went down untouched during the fourth quarter against the Browns with a strained hip flexor. He sported a heavy limp as he got off the field and headed toward the locker room. The good news is Rice isn't scheduled to have an MRI, and he reportedly wasn't on crutches or limping too badly after the game. Head coach John Harbaugh said he is "confident and optimistic" about Rice's status going forward.

Fantasy Analysis:

It was just a rough day all around for Rice, who finished with just 45 total yards on 16 touches and lost a fumble. Bernard Pierce @BPierce_30, who took on 12 carries after Rice left because Baltimore was trying to run out the clock, recorded 57 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. He should be owned in all leagues, obviously. We'll update Rice's health throughout the week.
