Lions WR Nate Burleson breaks arm in car accident

According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson @Nate13Burleson broke his arm in two places in an early morning car accident and will have to undergo surgery, which could potentially end his season. Burleson leads the Lions in catches this season with 19 for 239 yards and is coming off his game of the season.

Fantasy Analysis:

A huge loss for the Lions offense. There is no timetable for Burleson, an 11-year veteran who missed most of last season with a broken leg, to return. Ryan Broyles @RyanBroyles, who has seen limited playing time as he comes back from a torn ACL is now a hot free agent pickup. Second-year wide receiver Patrick Edwards and tight end Joseph Fauria will see an increase in targets with Burleson out.
