Report: Steven Jackson likely out until Week 7

Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson @sj39 is "expected to miss the Patriots this week and likely the "Monday Night Football" matchup with the Jets" as he recovers from a hamstring injury according to ESPN.com Atlanta Falcons reporter Vaughn McClure. Jackson suffered what was originally reported as a thigh injury in Week 2.

Fantasy Analysis:

According to the report, Jackson will likely miss the next two weeks and benefit from the Falcons bye week before making a return in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There is no official report from the team on Jackson's status for this weekend against New England yet. Both Jason Snelling @JSNELZ44 and Jacquizz Rodgers @Qui22Rodgers, possible free agent pickups, are worthy of flex consideration for the next two weeks until Jackson makes a healthy return to the lineup.
