Ravens RB Ray Rice practices Wednesday, says he expects to play in Week 4
In an encouraging sign of his availability this weekend, Ravens running back Ray Rice practiced Wednesday. It was Rice's first practice since sustaining a hip flexor strain in Week 2. Bernard Pierce filled in for him last week against the Texans, but Rice said after today's practice that he expects to be active Sunday versus the Bills.
I don't really care about what Rice expects; every athlete expects to be playing unless they are basically near death. But the fact that Rice went through practice on Wednesday -- a day coaches commonly rest injured veterans -- tells me that he indeed has a good shot of playing. He has a golden matchup ahead against the Bills' putrid run defense.
