Thursday Night Football injury report: 49ers TE Vernon Davis, RB Frank Gore active

The most important fantasy name on tonight's injury report, 49ers tight end Vernon Davis @VernonDavis85, is active versus the Rams. There is no indication that Davis' snaps will be limited or if he will indeed be full-go. Davis sat out last week's loss versus the Colts due to a hamstring strain.
Elsewhere on the injury report, 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis @PatrickWillis52 is inactive with his groin injury. He tried to warm up before the game, but reportedly moved around very gingerly.
Frank Gore, Daryl Richardson, and Chris Givens @CG1three -- all of whom were listed as probable on the injury report -- are active, as expected. 49ers wide receiver Jon Baldwin is active, and 49ers running back LaMichael James @LaMichaelJames is active for the first time this season.

Fantasy Analysis:

The return of Davis, even at perhaps less than 100 percent, is huge for Colin Kaepernick @Kaepernick7, who needs a second dependable receiver. I think Davis and Kaepernick are top-10 plays at their position tonight against a defense that has really struggled this season.
However, the star of the game should be Gore, especially after he was reportedly very angry with his coaches over his lack of carries in last week's game. Don't forget that DeMarco Murray ran all over this Rams defense in Week 3.
