49ers WR Mario Manningham eyes Week 7 return

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mario Manningham @Manningham49ers has plans to turn to practice leading up to Week 7. The former New York Giants pass-catcher's career has derailed over the last year after tearing his left knee's ACL and PCL. The 49ers are very thin at his position, after dealing with Michael Crabtree @KingCrab15's Achilles' injury and the trade of 2012 first round pick A.J. Jenkins @17AJJenkins to Kansas City.

Fantasy Analysis:

The sooner Manningham can return the better, but that's assuming he's all the way back and ready to play. He has been a No. 2 receiver for most of his career, so the impact may not be a radical change. However, the 49ers need all the help they can get to play alongside Anquan Boldin @AnquanBoldin and take pressure away from the line of scrimmage.
