Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles dealing with 'extensive' blisters on feet
Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles has yet to record a 100-yard rushing game this season. Maybe that's due to the "extensive" blisters on his feet. That description came Monday from head coach Andy Reid, who also said the bottom of Charles' feet "were just a mess" heading into Sunday's game versus the Giants. Reid said Charles is "a tough kid" and indicated that his star runner would be OK going foward.
Give Charles a couple of days off, slap some ointment on those moneymakers, and he should be fine. Despite the lack of massive rushing totals, Charles' fantasy owners couldn't be happier with him. He has scored at least 15 fantasy points every week and is averaging about 23 touches per. He leads all running backs in receiving yards and is tied for the lead in receptions. He is locked in as a top-three RB.
