Titans offensive coordinator shares criticisms for WR Kenny Britt

Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains was none too pleased with wide receiver Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18 after the Titans' 26-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. "We're gonna have to reassess everything at this point. We'll evaluate after we watch the tape," Loggains said. "Obviously, I'm not gonna hide anything. He had probably three drops in the game. The one that bothered me most was when it was 17-13, and you've got third and 2, and you've got to make that play. We dropped the ball, and it puts you in a tough spot." Also, when asked about Britt's potential, Loggains said, "Potential just means you haven't done anything."

Fantasy Analysis:

I'm in love with that last quote. In this game, we constantly harp on the potential talent or upside surrounding a player. Loggains definitely made a good point there. As we've all come to learn, Britt just doesn't have it. We've now waited five years for him to figure it out. He had his moments, and they were all fleeting. The Titans should move on, trade him away and maybe he figures it out somewhere else. He is "only" 25 so maybe lowered expectations and a new city can help Britt find a new role.

The steamer trunk full of baggage and attitude this "potential laden" head-case brings to the table is probably stalling attempts to relocate him, otherwise a move to somewhere like San Fran would certainly be a positive for all involved.

Everyone still thinks about that monster stretch of games he had. But he has been a fantasy disaster for probably three years now. I mean how long ago was that stretch? It was probably hasselbeck at qb.
