Giants RB David Wilson out for Week 6; RB Brandon Jacobs likely to start

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin didn't draw out the drama. He announced Tuesday that running back David Wilson @4stillRunning won't play Thursday against the Bears due to his neck injury. It's unknown if he will be able to play in Week 7. It was reported Tuesday that Wilson is receiving a second opinion on his injury.
When asked who will start in place of Wilson, offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said, "I guess it'll be Brandon (Jacobs)."

Fantasy Analysis:

Jacobs is averaging 2.2 yards per carry in four games. Despite his short-term job title, he should not be in your lineup on a short week, on the road, against the Bears. Da'Rel Scott @DaRelScott_RB, who the Giants re-signed on Monday, will also see some work. It all means Eli Manning will probably chuck it another 45-50 times this week.

What the hell did I do in a previous life to get the David Wilson treatment this year.

Most are blaming Matt here at FFToolbox. lol jk. I was never high on this kid and I called Ridley being a bust too. Unfortunately, ALF is not what I expected this year so that was my one prediction that isn't going so well. I am in 2nd and 3rd place in both of my 16-team leagues so I can't complain.

Oh, I forgot. What I was going to say is that now is the time to go out and get Andre Brown. If you are a team in need of some RB depth for a bye week in week 10 and beyond and can afford the roster spot go out and get him while u can.

And after listening to the podcast. I apparently live above an Incan burial ground. Thx Ben standing!!! Anyways yeah wk 10 seems so far away. My bench is locked up so I have to wait on brown a little longer. It is great advise,
