Colts sign RB Dan Herron

A former 2012 sixth round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals, running back Dan Herron has signed with the Indianapolis Colts after the announcement that RB Ahmad Bradshaw will be out for the year. Herron was a former teammate with QB Terrelle Pryor and RB Beanie Wells at Ohio State.

Fantasy Analysis:

Herron will play backup behind RBs Trent Richardson and Donald Brown @Donaldb31. He is unlikely to figure into the action or have any fantasy impact barring a serious injury ahead of him on the depth chart. The Colts aren't exactly getting their desired return of investment from T-Rich just yet. It's always possible that Herron will push Brown for the backup spot as well. Not exactly the juiciest fantasy news out there, but things can always change rapidly.
