UPDATE: Vikings RB Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son has died

Adrian Peterson @AdrianPeterson's 2-year-old son has died from the injuries he sustained after being allegedly beaten earlier this week by the boyfriend of the boy's mother. Peterson's son was listed in critical condition and passed away Friday.

Fantasy Analysis:

Peterson said Friday, prior to the news of his son's death, that he plans to play Sunday versus the Panthers. We'll let you know if anything changes on that front, but have Peterson in your lineups for now. He will be playing with a very heavy heart due to this incomprehensible, senseless tragedy, and we should all keep him and his family in our thoughts.

Unbelievably horrible - What kind of a person beats a 2 year old? My prayers are with the Peterson Family. This kind of story makes me sick to my stomach and drops my faith in the human race even lower than it already is.

If there were TRUE justice, they'd let Mr. Peterson be locked in a room with the coward who likes to beat on babies. Adrian Peterson and the coward puke go in, Adrian Peterson comes out. Justice Served. Yeah.. you heard me...

It's hard not to agree with the post above about true justice, but I think this is a time for Prayer, and reflection for the Peterson family. In this case, I care more about the player himself than how he affects my fantasy team. God bless.
