Who's in and who's out of the early games in Week 6

A big day for your fantasy team is being met with a lot of big questions on the injury report. We'll be here all morning long to give you the latest on the injured stars of today's early games. And it's a who's who list -- Calvin Johnson @Bigplaycj, Andre Johnson @johnson80, Michael Vick @MikeVick, Darren McFadden @dmcfadden20, Stevie Johnson @StevieJohnson13, C.J. Spiller @CJSPILLER, etc. Keep refreshing this post from 11: 30 a.m. until about 1 p.m. Eastern for all of the notable actives and inactives.

-- NFL Network's Stacy Dales has been told by a Raiders source that running backs Darren McFadden and Rashad Jennings will both be active today versus the Chiefs. Both were listed as questionable on injury report. With Marcel Reece also likely active, McFadden is just a mid-range flex play against a very good defense on the road.
-- Bucs WR Mike Williams is inactive. I originally read that he was active. It means Vincent Jackson is going to be a target monster against the Eagles.
-- Calvin Johnson is active and will start! Great news for all Lions, especially Matthew Stafford and Reggie Bush. Get them all into your lineups. He will not be restricted today.
-- Vikings RB Adrian Peterson @AdrianPeterson is active. He will be playing with a very heavy heart. Play him. Root for him.
-- Eagles QB Michael Vick is active, but he's the emergency third-string quarterback. As expected, Nick Foles will start. He's worth a shot in two-quarterback leagues.
-- Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie is active despite suffering a knee injury during the practice week. The Jets' defense has top-10 potential today versus the Steelers.
-- Bills WR Stevie Johnson is inactive due to his back injury. Robert Woods moves up to the No. 1 WR spot in Buffalo, but he is just a WR3 play in a tough matchup and with Thad Lewis at quarterback.
-- Vikings kicker Blair Walsh is active despite being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. He's a bit risky, but start him if you need him.
-- Bills RB C.J. Spiller is active. It's not a great matchup versus Cincy, but he is still well worth a spot as an RB2 in your lineup.
-- Rams RB Zac Stacy is active, as expected. He was limited a bit in practice with a rib injury. He'll get 15 or more touches, but he is just a flex option
-- Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers is inactive. That hurts the Chiefs a little bit, but Flowers has been hampered for a few weeks. They are still a solid start.
-- Ravens WRs Jacoby Jones and Marlon Brown are active. They are shot-in-the-dark starts versus the Packers.
-- Texans WR Andre Johnson is active despite his shin injury. He is a must-start versus the Rams.
-- The Bills have CBs Jarius Byrd and Stephon Gilmore both active today. That could make things very interesting (read: tougher) for A.J. Green.
-- Chiefs WR Donnie Avery is active. He's a low-end WR3 at best.
-- Panthers TE Greg Olsen is active. He had his foot in a walking boot earlier this week, but he is a fine TE1 against the Vikings, who are allowing the most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season.
-- Vikings QB Josh Freeman is inactive. But he'll probably be starting before long. Christian Ponder will back up Matt Cassel today versus the Panthers.
-- Ravens RB Bernard Pierce is active. But with Ray Rice healthy and getting most of the carries, Pierce should be on your bench.
-- Jets RBs Mike Goodson and Chris Ivory are both active. They will mix in with BIlal Powell, making all three risky in a plus matchup. Powell is flex-worthy.

Players who have already been ruled out for Week 6 include E.J. Manuel, Brian Hoyer, Blaine Gabbert, Kellen Winslow, and James Starks.

Fantasy Analysis:

Last week was rough for some in the QB2 group in fantasy. Hoyer is out for the season with a torn ACL. Manuel could be out for two months with a sprained knee. Gabbert will probably miss multiple weeks with his strained hamstring.
Brandon Weeden steps back in as the Browns' starting QB, and while he won't crush the fantasy values of Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron, you have to scale back expectations slightly. They are still healthy starts today versus the Lions.
Thad Lewis takes over for Manuel, and I want nothing to do with the entire Bills passing offense today. Lewis faces the Bengals, who held Tom Brady out of the end zone last week for the first time since the 2009 season.
Chad Henne is the quarterback I want the most out of these three backups. He has a couple of solid wideouts, Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon, at his disposal, and the Jaguars will be throwing the rock all day long in Denver. He'll throw a couple of interceptions, but a couple of scores and maybe 300 yards should be there, too, for Henne.
Apparently "soldiers" need PEDs. Winslow has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. Jeff Cumberland is the Jets' starting tight end, but he's a deep TE2 versus Pittsburgh.
Starks is still nursing the knee injury he suffered in Week 3. Eddie Lacy has a tough matchup versus the Ravens, but he's an RB2 based on expected workload alone. Johnathan Franklin is no threat as he keeps fumbling away every chance he gets.

Just a quick piece of feedback for y'all...(hope you don't mind). But in the "Fantasy Analysis" section above, could you guys please BOLD the players names? Reason being that many of us are scrambling to find all the news we can on our players right up until kickoff, and bolding the players names would make it that much easier for us to quickly find the latest news & analysis on them. I love your site, I use it DAILY, I kid you not. And I would share your site with others in my league, but I don't want them to have the same edge as I get from you guys lol!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!
