Neck surgery not recommended for Giants RB David Wilson
Giants running back David Wilson received the second opinion on his neck injury Monday, and he got some great news. According to FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo, Dr. Robert Watkins did not recommend surgery during today's appointment. Garafolo adds that Wilson is still expected to miss a couple of weeks, but his season "isn't over just yet."
This is a 180 from Friday's news that Wilson had spinal stenosis. Fantasy owners still need to add Brandon Jacobs as he will be the team's main runner for a little bit. But you should hang on to Wilson in deep and semi-deep leagues if you can afford it. With his current timetable, he may be back after the Giants' Week 9 bye.
