Report: Falcons without Roddy White, S-Jax in Week 7

The already shorthanded Falcons will be without Steven Jackson @sj39 (hamstring) and Roddy White @roddywhiteTV (ankle, hamstring) in Week 7 against Tampa Bay. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the pair will be inactive on Sunday. Jackson hasn't played since Week 2 while White, who has been limited throughout the season, will miss the first game of his career.

Fantasy Analysis:

Bummer that coming off a bye week neither recouped enough to get on the field this week, especially Jackson, whose original diagnosis gave him a shot at returning by now. As for White, this is actually a good thing - and way too late - as he's been completely ineffective since injuring his ankle in the preseason. Harry Douglas @HDouglas83 isn't a tremendous talent, but is Atlanta's top fantasy receiver this week and a WR3 fantasy option. Neither Jacquizz Rodgers @Qui22Rodgers nor Jason Snelling is a strong play against a tough Bucs run defense.
