Rams QB Sam Bradford tears ACL, season over

The St. Louis Rams will be without quarterback Sam Bradford for the remainder of the 2013 season after he tore his left ACL. He is expected to be placed on injured reserve sometime this week. Bradford was legally pushed out of bound by Carolina safety Michael Mitchell @MikeMitchell34. The former Sooners QB landed awkwardly on his knee while falling to the ground.

Fantasy Analysis:

Not only is the 2013 season in big trouble for the Rams, their future is up in the air as well. Bradford has one of those big, bloated, pre-lockout contracts that has him owed $14 million in 2014 and nearly $13 million in 2015. The Rams have two first-rounders to work with next year and the early talk suggests this will be a big QB year. Do the Rams stick with Bradford coming off a long ACL rehab or do they move in a new direction to save money and start fresh? We shall see. This is a big loss to the Rams' receivers who will now have to rely on QB Kellen Clemens.
