Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray on his way back

Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray @DeMarcoMurray could play this weekend against the Lions, and he got off to a good start in making that happen by going through limited practice Wednesday. Murray was in pads and took the first-team snaps during the media-allowed portion of practice, according to ESPN Dallas' Todd Archer. Murray suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee back in Week 6. Rookie Joseph Randle @JRAN_1 started in place of an inactive Murray last week.

Fantasy Analysis:

We'll keep you updated on Murray's status throughout the week. The Cowboys aren't going to rush him; Randle looked serviceable enough in a full-time role against the Eagles. But the return of Murray would be a noticeable upgrade to Dallas' run game. He is a solid RB2 if he plays at full strength versus the Lions.
