Tampa Bay WR Mike Williams says he has torn hamstring

Tampa Bay Bucs wide receiver Mike Williams @Mikebuc19 told the Tampa Tribune he has a torn hamstring. This type of injury would end his season and end up placing him on injured reserve. If out, the Bucs would fall back onto the services of Chris Owusu @Owusu81, Tiquan Underwood @TiUnderwood and Russell Shepard. Williams was a late activation Thursday night against the Panthers, but did not appear to be playing at 100-percent.

Fantasy Analysis:

The hits keep on coming for Tampa Bay. First it was Josh Freeman @JF5x, then Doug Martin @DougMartin22 and now Williams. The Bucs are in bad shape and most of the media reports about the team are about when, and not if, head coach Greg Schiano will be fired. One thing that will get lost in the conversation here about Williams is how previous to this injury, he had one of the most consistent track records in the game. His career stats page looks like somebody was copy and pasted it in there. Owusu is the player fantasy owners should keep an eye on. He just recently got healthy and was already pushing for more playing time.
