Rams RB Zac Stacy has low-ankle sprain

Running back Zac Stacy was the Rams' offensive star during Monday night's tight loss to the Seahawks. However, as the Rams drove for a possible game-winning touchdown, Stacy could be found only on the sidelines, limping, wearing a ball of tape over his left ankle and sporting a heavy grimace. Stacy sprained his ankle, but FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports that Stacy has avoided the dreaded high-ankle sprain. For now, Stacy is considered day to day.

Fantasy Analysis:

I take this news with a little bit of anxiety, because we thought Roddy White @roddywhiteTV had also suffered a standard low-ankle sprain during the preseason. It was reported as such for weeks and then it came out after Week 1 that, oops, he actually has a high-ankle sprain. White hasn't been right all season.
But taking Garafolo at his word here, Stacy still has a chance of playing Sunday versus the Titans. He is a hard-nosed runner with simply fantastic balance and always seems to fall forward. In a game against a ferocious defense that had no reason to respect St. Louis' passing game, Stacy gained 134 rushing yards. He has a tough schedule in this second half of the season, but considering what he accomplished in the past two games against Carolina and Seattle, Stacy looks like a true RB2. If he has to miss any time, Daryl Richardson would likely get the start.
