Barring setbacks, Bills QB E.J. Manuel expected to start Sunday
E.J. Manuel isn't anything close to an elite quarterback right now. But the rookie is certainly better than Jeff Tuel or Thad Lewis, so this is some good news for the Bills. Team president and CEO Russ Brandon said Wednesday that "unless [Manuel] has a setback, he should be ready to go on Sunday." Manuel has been out since spraining the LCL in his right knee Oct. 3. The Bills visit the Steelers this weekend.
Manuel's return should mean better days for wide receiver Stevie Johnson . However, the Steelers may have gotten lit up by Tom Brady and the Patriots last week, but they still have a top-5 pass defense.
