Report: Titans expect QB Jake Locker to miss rest of season

It wasn't bad enough that the Titans lost at home Sunday to the formerly winless Jaguars, a team that had lost each of its previous eight games by double digits. No, the loss in the standings was compounded by a major loss for the offense. Quarterback Jake Locker suffered a right foot injury during the second quarter and didn't return. Sources tell The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt that the team believes Locker will miss the rest of the season after initial tests revealed a Lisfranc injury. Surgery is a possibility, according to those sources. Locker left the stadium on crutches with his right foot in a walking boot. He committed two turnovers and gained just 42 total yards before his exit.
Ryan Fitzpatrick took over and while he almost completed the comeback, he also had the football stolen right out of his hands and returned by the Jaguars for a defensive score. He completed 22 of 33 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

Locker's ill-starred career continues. He missed two games earlier this season with a hip injury, and he has a history of shoulder problems. Now he has an extremely debilitating foot injury. The kid just has really bad luck. Fitzpatrick looked good on Sunday, but it was the Jaguars. He is not a marked improvement from Locker No matter who is under center, it looks like Kendall Wright is the only Titans receiver worth caring about in fantasy.
