Panthers' trio of running backs split snaps and touches

Panthers running back Mike Tolbert led Carolina RBs with 35 snaps, Jonathan Stewart @Jonathanstewar1 played 22 and DeAngelo Williams @DeAngeloRB played 20. Tolbert only had four touches though as Stewart led the way with 13 touches in Carolina's win over San Francisco.

Fantasy Analysis:

This was a defensive stalemate of a game; however, Carolina must find a way to move the ball more consistently for the sake of its fantasy owners. Williams did average 5.8 yards per carry on his eight rushes and Tolbert was primarily used as a pocket protector on pass plays. This means Williams and Stewart will see the strong majority of carries so that's a good start. Moving forward, none of these backs have much fantasy value given the fickle nature of playing time and touches on this team. It's vital for somebody to step up and break away from the pack.
