Packers QB Seneca Wallace expected to be placed on injured reserve
According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Packers are expected to place quarterback Seneca Wallace on injured reserve soon. Wallace saw his Week 10 start end before one full quarter due to a groin injury. He was replaced by Scott Tolzien, who has already been named the Packers' starter for this Sunday's game at the Giants.
Green Bay signed Matt Flynn on Monday and are working out John Skelton today. The Packers didn't need to wait on a minimally talented backup QB to get healthy. Despite a good matchup in Week 11, Eddie Lacy and Jordy Nelson are the only Packers skill players I trust with Tolzien under center. Aaron Rodgers is at least a couple of weeks away from returning.
