Broncos QB Peyton Manning skips practice Wednesday

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning did not practice Wednesday in order to rest his ankles. The elder Manning was hit low last week and managed to stay in the game. This injury has been lingering for a few weeks now; however, there's no reason to assume Manning will miss even one play against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Chiefs are 9-0 and Denver is 8-1. This should be a great game and obviously, it's a big moment for the AFC West. Thinking back, when was the last time this much was on the line for that division? If I had a team of statisticians at my disposal, I'd look that up for you because nothing comes to mind immediately. In any case, Manning is a must-start even if he had his foot decapitated. The guy is having a career year and playing lights out.

Decapitation literally means having your head separated from your body...so in case Manning's brain is in his foot, you're using that word wrong.

"Decapitated" only refers to the loss of your head. You can't have a foot decapitated, unless your foot has a head on it.

But... maybe he was referring to if Peyton had the front portion of his foot cut off. Or like his big toe or something. You could call that the "head" of your foot, in which case you could say your foot was "decapitated" in a sort of poetic turn of phrase. Obviously that's what he meant here.

Maybe he should have an ankle fuze... Take some of his robot next muscle and attach it to his ankles...

I have a healthy respect for even a hobbled Peyton that I and subbing The Jets against Buffalo.
Now if I found out Peyton is out I think K.C. def is the pick.

To lucassidy2 ==> I doubt that KC will hold Denver to 17 points or less like they have every other team this year. I think Peyton is good for at least 2 TDs and a win. It's in Denver so I think they'll decapitate (or did I mean decapacitate) KC (LOL). Whatever, KC's heads roll in Denver.
