Dolphins WR Mike Wallace pops up with hamstring injury

Given how Mike Wallace @Wallace17_daKid's season has gone, perhaps this is a blessing in disguise? The Dolphins' big-money wide receiver was added to the injury report on Thursday with a hamstring injury. It is not known when Wallace suffered the injury or how severe it is. His status will be updated Friday. The Dolphins match up against the Chargers' 28th-ranked pass defense Sunday.

Fantasy Analysis:

You would think that losing Wallace would hurt this offense, especially since it has suffered so many injuries and setbacks already. But Wallace has one touchdown this year and hasn't topped 90 yards since Week 5. He showed minimal interest during Monday night's loss to the Buccaneers. This is a matchup that he should take advantage of, but maybe it's for the best that fantasy owners might not have to think about going back to the Wallace well yet again. As you know, hamstring injuries are stubborn and can take considerable time to heal. We'll see if Wallace takes part in any practice Friday.
If Wallace misses this game, Brian Hartline @brianhartline would be the de facto No. 1 WR, but Rishard Matthews @_RMatthews, he of the 11 catches and two touchdowns from last week, would be worth a shot in deeper leagues. San Diego has given up an average of 280 passing yards per game.

Is this good news or bad for the running game ? Is Lamar Miller even worth a roster spot anymore ?
