Seahawks WR Percy Harvin 'has a chance to play'
Although Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin is listed as probable for Week 11 on the injury report, head coach Pete Carroll's words left some hesitation as to whether Harvin will be on the field Sunday against the Vikings. Carroll would only say Friday that Harvin "has a chance to play" after practicing all week.
The practice participation levels are nice, and I don't think there's any real doubt at this point that Harvin is going to play against the Vikings. He will have some plays drawn up specifically for him, but it's impossible to know right now how often he will play. Thus, Harvin remains a risky WR3, but one with definite upside against such a shoddy pass defense. The one thing I am sure of is that, barring injury, Harvin will be comfortably inserted into most lineups after the Seahawks' Week 12 bye.
