Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor officially ruled out
Terrelle Pryor 's sprained knee was strong enough for him to practice a couple of times this week, but it's not strong enough for the Raiders to risk him Sunday against the Texans. Oakland officially ruled out Pryor on Saturday. Undrafted rookie Matt McGloin will get his first career start against a Houston defense that ranks No. 1 in total defense and pass defense. McGloin took all of the snaps with the first-team offense during Friday's practice.
Pryor should be back for next week's game versus the Titans. As I've been saying all week, running back Rashad Jennings is the only Raider I would even think about using for fantasy purposes. Houston has allowed the fewest yards to wide receivers this year. Playing at home against a one-dimensional offense, the Texans' defense is a strong plug-and-play option.
