Falcons RB Jason Snelling won't play Sunday following marijuana arrest
Falcons running back Jason Snelling missed practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury. He missed practice again on Friday for something completely different, and it will keep him out of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
Snelling was arrested early Friday morning and charged with possession of marijuana – less than one ounce, possession of drug related materials, expired or no driver's license, failure to maintain lane, failure to maintain insurance, improper use of dealer license plate and no registration.
Head coach Mike Smith said Saturday that Snelling will take some time off to handle his situation and not play this weekend.
Smooth. Details of the arrest can be read in the link below. It'll cause a couple of eye rolls. Snelling has minimal fantasy value with Steven Jackson back and should be dropped in all leagues.
