Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is throwing, running without pain

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12 is recovering well from the fractured left collarbone he suffered on Nov. 4. Rodgers said Tuesday that he is now able to throw and run like normal without pain. However, he won't play in Week 12 because the risk of re-injury involved is still just too high.
"I think the biggest issue is not the pain at this point," Rodgers said. "It is the risk of taking a shot like that and what it would do if [the collarbone] displaced. Obviously, I'd be out for the season and worried about any type of complications going forward."
Head coach Mike McCarthy already announced that quarterback Scott Tolzien will start versus the Vikings on Sunday.

Fantasy Analysis:

Rodgers first realistic shot at playing comes nine days from now against the Lions on Thanksgiving. Tolzien is an option for the needy ones in two-quarterback leagues. The Vikings have allowed the third-most points to fantasy quarterbacks, and Tolzien has thrown for more than 600 yards in the last two weeks. At least he hasn't missed a beat in keeping Jordy Nelson @JordyRNelson and Jarrett Boykin @BoyKinHeCatch very valuable.
