Packers QB Aaron Rodgers officially ruled out for Week 13
As expected, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been ruled out of the Thanksgiving game against the Lions, and Matt Flynn will start in his place. Head coach Mike McCarthy finally made the move official on Wednesday. Rodgers has been going through some light practice but he hasn't been cleared to play as he continues to recover from a fractured left collarbone.
As I said late Tuesday night, Flynn is viable only in deep two-quarterback leagues, but Jordy Nelson remains a must-start, and Jarrett Boykin and James Jones are both worthwhile plays in three-receiver leagues. The Lions have allowed the second-most fantasy points to WRs this season.
