Patriots WR Aaron Dobson has a sprained foot

Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson has already been ruled out for Week 13 because of his foot injury, and the type of ailment will probably keep him off the field for more than just one game. A source has told Nick Underhill of that Dobson has sprained foot, which limited him to just two snaps during the second half of last week's win over the Broncos. It's unknown if Dobson will play in Week 14 versus the Browns.

Fantasy Analysis:

The direct fantasy impact here is rather small since the Patriots' offense past Dobson is stocked with quality receiving options, and Kenbrell Thompkins has outplayed Dobson recently. A sprained foot might be a vague cover for a more serious injury -- See: Lisfranc sprain -- but don't wait on the Patriots disclosing much information. Dobson can be buried on your bench for now. Thompkins is on the WR3 radar as his snap count should rise drastically, but he should be behind at least Danny Amendola @DannyAmendola, Rob Gronkowski @RobGronkowski, and Shane Vereen @ShaneVereen34 for targets.
