Aaron Rodgers watch: Packers QB still hoping to be cleared to play

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12 is entering his seventh week of rehab on his once-fractured collarbone. He still hasn't been cleared to play, and he didn't offer many clues as to when he will play with his words during a Tuesday radio interview.
"Obviously there's strong opinions on what should happen, but the organization is going to do what's best by me, and I'm going to try to make (playing) at least a conversation (with the medical and football staffs)," Rodgers said.
"I think there has to be on some level the risk-reward conversation. You have to base that off the evidence you see on a (medical) scan, but also how I'm feeling. If I'm able to do normal football movements without pain, obviously that goes into the equation. A few weeks ago that wasn't even in the equation because I had pain. Last week I felt more like myself, I think the guys would say I looked like myself out there, and I knew I was closer."
Rodgers said he has hardly thrown since last Thursday's practice, but he hopes to feel stronger Wednesday after five more days of down time.

Fantasy Analysis:

Once again, Rodgers will go through practice on Wednesday, and we'll learn more about his status then. The Packers host the Steelers on Sunday, so Rodgers would have a pretty good matchup awaiting him if he finally does return this week.
