Cowboys QB Tony Romo is 'trying to do everything he can' to play Sunday

While reports have stated that Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will not play again this season due to a herniated disc in his back, the Cowboys themselves aren't ready to admit that. All head coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday was that his quarterback didn't look "overly comfortable" and is "fighting through" the pain. Romo didn't take part in the day's practice.
"He's certainly in a situation where he's trying to do everything he can to get himself back with the rehab process and treatment process, like any injured player would," Garrett said of Romo. "He's a tough guy, as we saw the other day. We'll just see how he does."
Garrett added later on: "We'll make our best medical decision, and we'll make our best football decision."

Fantasy Analysis:

The best medical decision is probably going to lead the Cowboys to starting quarterback Kyle Orton in Sunday's must-win showdown versus the Eagles. And Jon Kitna would be his backup. You are still starting Dez Bryant @DezBryant in Week 17. Jason Witten @JasonWitten is probably more of a mid-range TE1.
