Giants RB Andre Brown cleared following Week 16 concussion

Running back Andre Brown @drebrown35 will likely be available for Week 17 if the Giants wish to work him. Brown suffered a concussion late in last Sunday's win over the Lions, but he cleared the league's concussion protocol on Wednesday and is on track to play against the Redskins as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Backup running back Peyton Hillis @thepeytonhillis, who didn't play against Detroit due to his own concussion, has also been cleared.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Redskins have allowed the third-most fantasy points to running backs this year, and Brown scored twice against them in Week 13. Now, the Giants could choose to just play it safe with Brown in a meaningless game and see more of young running back Michael Cox in the finale. But if they start Brown once again, he would be a low-end RB1.
