Packers WR Randall Cobb practices, takes first team reps

In addition to the news of quarterback Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12 taking first team reps during practice on Thursday, the Packers got more good news, as they also had wide receiver Randall Cobb @rcobb18 back on the practice field again, taking snaps with Rodgers, and fellow wideouts, James Jones and Jordy Nelson.

Cobb has been out since fracturing his fibula in the Packers week six game at Baltimore. After having a breakout year in 2012 which saw him put up a stat line of 80 receptions/954 yards/8 touchdowns, Cobb picked up where he'd left off last year, having over 100 yards and a TD in each of their first two games of the year.

Fantasy Analysis:

Again, this is more relevant to the Packers and their playoff hopes than it is to fantasy, as most leagues finish up their seasons in week 16. However, if the Packers can pull out a win vs. the Bears in week 17 (thus clinching their division and a playoff berth), Cobb would be a player worth keeping an eye on in playoff leagues.

If Cobb plays, expect that to cut into WR Jarrett Boykin @BoyKinHeCatch's snaps.
