Panthers WR Steve Smith, RB Jonathan Stewart expected to return to practice next week

The Panthers' first-round bye has allowed a couple of important offensive cogs to get healthy before the divisional round of the playoffs. Wide receiver Steve Smith and running back Jonathan Stewart @Jonathanstewar1 are expected to practice next week, according to head coach Ron Rivera. Both players missed game action at the end of the regular season due to injuries. Smith is recovering from a sprained PCL, and Stewart is doing the same from a sprained MCL.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is much more important news for the Panthers than playoff fantasy owners. Stewart isn't worth your time, and Smith is barely a top-20 WR option for the postseason.
