WR Hakeem Nicks would like to remain with Giants

For what it's worth, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks wants to remain a New York Giant. He said as much while speaking at a charity event on Tuesday. However, he added, "I understand the business side," and that he "doesn't really know what to expect" regarding his pro future. He will become a free agent in March. Nicks caught 56 passes for 896 yards this season but didn't find the end zone.

Fantasy Analysis:

As a Giants fan, let me thank Hakeem for a couple of very productive years in blue. He was a beast during the 2011 playoffs, leading to the Giants' Super Bowl victory. But it's time to move on. He is one of the game's leaders in "injury proneness," and seems to have lost a step or four. The Giants already have Nicks' younger replacements, Rueben Randle @RuebenRandle and Jerrel Jernigan @JJernigan12, in tow. Those two and Victor Cruz @TeamVic should form a nice triumvirate for Eli Manning.
Now, the Giants' offense can get back on track as soon figure out what's wrong with Eli, fix their horrible offensive line, keeping their running backs healthy, pick the correct offensive coordinator ....

Sigh.
