Saints RB Pierre Thomas continues to be absent from practice
Saints running back Pierre Thomas may reprise his role from Wild Card Weekend this Saturday in Seattle: inactive. Thomas didn't practice Wednesday and hasn't practiced since suffering an unspecified chest injury in late December.
The Saturday kickoff means the Saints will hold just one more practice before traveling to the Northwest. At this point, it doesn't seem like Thomas will play, leaving Mark Ingram to once again handle most of the carries. He rushed 18 times for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles last Saturday. But Seattle's defense is much more formidable, especially at home. He is ranked as the No. 14 RB for the divisional round.
